CBN-Cubic Boron Nitride
Cubic Boron Nitride is also an ultrahard abrasive. Its microscopic hardness is second
only to that of synthetic diamond. CBN possesses good thermal stability
and chemical inertness relating to the metals of the ferric family.
CBN can be manufactured into all kinds of bonded grinding wheels and
electro-plated tools. It can be used in processing various kinds of
hard and tough steelssuch as high-speed steel, high-vanadium steel and bearing steel,
and so on. There are three types available: >

| CBN-800
is a medium strength, monocrystal, uncoated product suited for use
in resin bond system. |
CBN-800N
is nickle coated products used in the abrasive wheel manufacture
in resin bond system, their characteristics provide the better combinative
with abrasive and long life. |
CBN-M800
is CBN-800 micron powder, designed for ferrous lapping and polishing
applications. |
CBN-M800N
is nickle coated micron powder, applied for resin bond system |

monocrystal, uncoated product, with high anti-impact ability and
themostability, its relative goods have longer using life. It is
used in ceramic, metal and electrodeposit bond systems. |
CBN-850N is
nickle coated CBN-850 used in abrasive wheel manufacture in resin
bond system, their characteristics provide the better combinative
with abrasive and longlife.

provide long life and free cutting action in high production grinding
